Took around an hour and a half to get to Portsmouth (How do people get there in an hour?) Headed for the Spinnaker Tower, which was the main reason for the visit and found the car park, directly under the Spinnaker Tower Shopping Centre. None of the Oxford Park ‘n Ride wait for bus, get wet, get dropped ‘near’ shops, struggle back to bus with shopping and get more wet.
Sue waiting for the coffee shop to open. First things first, of to Café Nero for a Mocha and a muffin then a wonder around the shops.
This is the view looking out onto the harbour with the shops and restaurants behind. You can just see the base of the tower to the right. This is a typical summers day in Britain, note the storm clouds, haven’t started raining yet though.
